Individuals and organisations in direct contact with the person in charge; the person on file; workers of the association.
DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Your personal data is kept under the responsibility of the coordinator of the association for an indefinite period of time.
PROFESSIONAL SECRECY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
All employees of the association are subject to professional secrecy. In addition, the VZW has a confidentiality policy that you can consult on request.
DATA TRANSFER OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
The data is not transferred in any way outside the European Union. The data are not transferred, they are only intended for the use of the non-profit organisation Education Globale et Développement asbl.
SECURITY
The ASBL, its workers and its partners undertake to respect the measures described in the association’s safety policy charter, which is available for consultation on request.
THIS CHARTER ALSO SETS OUT THE NATURE OF THE REPLY, WHETHER OR NOT IT IS OBLIGATORY, AND THE POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES OF A FAILURE TO REPLY:
You are not obliged to give your data, if you have legitimate reasons.
The reply is therefore not obligatory; an anonymous file will be established in the absence of a reply in order to have exact figures.
You have the right to access your data free of charge and on request:
Right of access of the data subject to the data the organisation holds on him/her.
Right to correct incorrect data and/or to limit access to certain data.
Right to request the deletion of certain data.
Right to object to certain processing, such as profiling for marketing purposes.
Right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing. In concrete terms, you can ask for an explanation justifying an automated decision by computer.
Right to portability. You may request from the data controller that your structured data be transferred to the data controller of another body, if the latter has the capacity to do so.
All requests must be submitted, with proof of identity, to the data controller at the address mentioned above.
You will receive a reply to your request within one month of receipt of the request, either to inform you :
the steps taken to respond positively to your request; or
in complex cases, the need to extend the time limit for processing the application by two months and the reasons for the extension; or
the reasons for our inaction or refusal, and the possibility of lodging a complaint with the Control Authority or taking legal action.
If an application is submitted in electronic form, this response will, in principle, also have to be provided electronically.
In principle, no payment may be requested from data subjects for processing their applications. Unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Moreover, according to Art. 13 of the Regulation on the protection of personal data :
You must express your consent [1] explicitly for the processing of your personal data in view of the information provided to you.
